Shane was awarded two, 1% for Arts permanent Art Installation awards for Houston High School. The school's mascot is the red-tailed hawk.

Shane is the feature artist for the Mat Su Community College's "Tie the Knot" 1st annual fundraiser. They have chosen his new release, "Sleeping Lady Swans" as their feature artwork and Shane is donating a framed 48" hand-embellished Giclee of this painting. The event is Friday February 12th at the Palmer Train Depot.

Shane is also the 2010 featured artist for Fairbanks Adoption and Counseling's Fundraiser Saturday, February 20th in Fairbanks. They will be featuring his "Sunset at Creamer's Field" hand-embellished Framed Giclee.

Ducks Unlimited Alaska Chapters have also chosen "Sunset at Creamer's Field" as their 2009 - 2010 Featured art. This image was printed in a special sized small edition just for Ducks Unlimited, It will be framed and featured at all 40 of Ducks Unlimited fund raising chapters this year.
